Why Sponsor Our Project
The Chemical Dependency History Project had its origins in 2003, when a dozen pioneers in the CD field came together to discuss the importance of documenting events and recording memoirs from individuals corresponding to these events in our state. The project was founded at the 24 Hour Alcohol Drug Helpline, and given seed money from the Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse. Further funding is relied upon through grants, sponsorships and donors. Contributions are needed to continue this unique and valuable resource. The site currently spans from 1889 to 2004, but the project is ongoing, as historical information is discovered and as current history continues to unfold.
